What is the Donation Wars Overlay?

Donation Wars turns viewer support into a battle right on stream. Every donation summons a hero or heals one — chat doesn’t just watch, it decides the outcome of the fight. Connect a donation source, add the overlay to your streaming software, and enjoy the fight.

Rules for viewers

  1. The first donation summons a hero. The bigger the amount, the more HP the hero gets.
  2. A repeat donation heals the hero. If HP is full, the remainder increases max HP.
  3. [Coming soon] Hero levels for damage dealt. The higher the level, the stronger the hero.
  4. [Coming soon] Win statistics for each viewer.

How do I connect it to my stream?

Just a couple of steps after signing up:

  • connect a donation source;
  • create the arena with a button;
  • add the overlay to OBS/StreamLabs as a Browser source;
Which donation services are supported?

DonationAlerts, MemeAlerts and SteamLabs; support for other services is coming soon.

Is it safe to use Donation Wars?

Yes — Donation Wars can't see your balance or withdraw funds, access is limited to a subscription to donation events, and you can revoke it in one click in your donation service settings.

Can I customize the heroes?

The hero roster is fixed for now, but choosing the arena lineup will be possible in the future.
